BOYNEXTDOOR's 5th mini-album 'The Action' charted at 40 on the latest Billboard 200 announced by the American music media Billboard (dated November 8), marking the fifth consecutive entry following their 1st EP 'WHY․․', 2nd EP 'HOW?', 3rd EP '19.99', and 4th EP 'No Genre'. The 5th mini-album 'The Action' sold a total of 1,041,802 copies within a week of its release on the Korean album sales aggregation site Hanteo Chart, achieving three consecutive million-seller records. Furthermore, it topped the weekly album charts of Hanteo Chart (aggregation period: October 20-26) and the latest weekly album chart announced by Circle Chart (aggregation period: October 19-25). It also ranked first on the popular album chart of Korean Apple Music from October 21 to 27, showing high popularity in streaming. The title track 'Hollywood Action' is also performing well on charts both domestically and internationally. It surged to 2nd place on MelOn's 'Top 100' (October 21 at 0:00), breaking its own record with a daily chart ranking of 36 and a weekly chart ranking of 21. It continued to rise, reaching 18th on MelOn's daily chart, 7th on Korean Apple Music's 'Top 100', and 13th on Korean Spotify's 'Weekly Top Song' (aggregation period: October 24-30), establishing itself in the upper ranks of various charts. All songs from the new album ranked on Circle Chart's latest weekly download, digital, and streaming charts, and entered Apple Music's 'Top 100' and Spotify's 'Daily Top Song' from October 20 to 24. In Japan, it ranked 2nd on Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales' (aggregation period: October 20-26), and also ranked 2nd on the Oricon 'Weekly Album Ranking' and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking' during the same period. Additionally, Jehyun, Tesan, Ihan, and Unak, who participated in the song production, ranked 31st on the Hot 100 Lyricists chart, and Unak ranked 30th on the Hot 100 Composers chart for the first time. Moreover, on TikTok, videos using 'Hollywood Action' have been posted approximately 23,000 times, showing an increase of about 60% compared to the 23rd before appearing on Korean music programs.
