BTS's Jin, who enlisted in December 2022, is approaching discharge on June 12, raising fans' expectations. Recently, amusing episodes of Jin and J-HOPE, the first members of BTS to enlist, have been reported and gained attention. When Jungkook did a live stream on the global fan platform Weverse before enlisting, Jin commented, "Jungkook, please contact me." Jungkook replied, "Brother, wait a little longer. I have time to contact you, but I often go back and forth overseas, so the timing doesn't match. I might go overseas three times this month? I'm sorry for going back and forth overseas. Let's meet when I'm on vacation." Jin told Jungkook, "J-HOPE and I exchange 300 emails a day," eliciting laughter. Minhyuk of MONSTA X enlisted in April 2023 and is scheduled to be discharged on September 30. Following Shownu, Minhyuk, the second member of the group to enlist, entered the 5th Division new recruit training camp in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do. He performed various stages, including NewJeans' "Super Shy," at the "Ground Forces Festival" in October 2023, attracting attention. After the video spread, fans showed reactions like "He seems to have become tougher even after enlisting" and "I want him to be discharged soon and show a performance." In March 2023, Song Mino began alternative service as a social service worker, and Kang Seungyoon entered the training camp as an active-duty soldier in June 2023. Both are scheduled to be discharged in December, and when Kang Seungyoon is discharged, all members of WINNER will have completed their military service, and it is expected that the group will start full-fledged activities. During his enlistment, Song Mino attended his sister Song Dana's wedding in the United States. He walked Song Dana down the aisle in place of their deceased father. Song Mino's side revealed, "We went through official procedures and headed to the United States." Actor Nam Joo Hyuk, who enlisted in March 2023, is also scheduled to be discharged on September 19.
