On ABC TV, the special drama “Kyo mo Korinai Watashitachi” will be broadcast for two consecutive weeks (Part 1: Saturday, September 19, 11:00 p.m. / Part 2: Saturday, September 26, 11:00 p.m. *both Kansai local). This work is a story depicting three women, Ai, Karen, and Juri, whose ages and worries are all different, traveling through the Kaga area of Ishikawa Prefecture. It is a road drama that portrays how, while they each live their own daily lives with worries about romance and work, they visit an unfamiliar place and, while being healed by casual conversations with close companions and the beautiful scenery of their travel destination, rediscover new versions of themselves. Over two weeks, a story filled with encouragement that makes you think, “From tomorrow’s days too, I’ll try a little harder,” will be delivered. And this time, Yuto Adachi’s appearance has been decided! He appears in the drama as the national idol Minobe Shuto (nickname: Minoshu), appearing in photographs. Yuto Adachi went to Korea in 2014 at the young age of 15. After that, he appeared on a survival reality program and debuted in 2016 as a member of the global boy group PENTAGON, and after becoming independent in 2023, he continues to be active as a solo artist. Adachi Yuto, who is once again attracting attention with his globally honed talent, is making his first appearance in a Japanese terrestrial drama this time! He will play the role of the sparkling-smile-impressive national idol “Minoshu.” Minoshu, who serves as the tourism ambassador for Ishikawa Prefecture, which Ai (Wan Marui), Karen (Shiori Kato), and Juri (Kanon) visit, appears everywhere, such as on tourism campaign posters and life-size panels installed at inns. He is so popular that Juri even blurts out, “He really is everywhere,” but Minoshu’s presence will eventually move someone’s heart...!? Expectations are rising for the realistic conversations of the three adult women and the elusive “Minoshu.” Ahead of the broadcast in two days, a long PR video packed with the drama’s appeal has been released! It is footage that makes maximum use of the “VLOG”-like feel that is also incorporated into the drama itself. Viewers can visit Ishikawa Prefecture together with the three women and experience the feeling of actually traveling with them, with plenty of new cuts. In addition, a special roundtable discussion by the three women has been released on TVer. It is packed with content, from behind-the-scenes stories from filming to episodes related to their own travels. It also contains the real closeness of the three, so why not check that out as well before the broadcast? ■Work information Special drama “Kyo mo Korinai Watashitachi” Part 1: September 19, 11:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (Kansai local) Part 2: September 26, 11:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (Kansai local) *Simultaneous broadcast on Hokuriku Asahi Broadcasting and Yamagata Television! *After the broadcast ends, missed-episode streaming on TVer and ABEMA Cast: Wan Marui, Shiori Kato, Kanon Script: Takeshi Takemura Direction: Yasushi Yoshida Theme song: “Otona wa Isogashii” / otsumami feat. mikan (OSAKANA label) Production cooperation: ABC Libra Production copyright: ABC TV ■Related link Official site of “Kyo mo Korinai Watashitachi”
