Police are investigating a woman in her 50s on suspicion of eavesdropping on ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo’s conversation. According to police and others on the 18th, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station recently booked Ms. A, a woman in her 50s, on suspicion of violating the Communications Secrets Protection Act, among other charges. Ms. A is suspected of eavesdropping on Cha Eun-woo’s conversation at a cafe in Yongsan District, Seoul, by attaching a listening device under a table. It is reported that she installed the listening device twice, on the 23rd and 29th of last month. It is believed that Ms. A’s crime was discovered on the 30th of last month while she was taking back the listening device she had installed. Ms. A, who was urgently arrested, was later released and is currently being questioned without being detained.
