From Jejung to Red Velvet's Wendy, the master lineup of ENA's growth-type music project 'THE SCOUT' has been revealed. 'THE SCOUT: The Reborn Star', which will first air in Korea on May 8 at 8 PM, is a growth-type music project where top experts in the music industry discover 'raw gems' who have not yet fully realized their talents and present them with new directions and possibilities. Led by Lee Seung Chul, the dream lineup includes Jejung, Wendy, DAY6's Young K, and Akiyama Seihun (Korean name: Chu Seonghun). The production team surprised everyone by releasing the official poster on the 17th. The poster captures the masters gathered to discover hidden gems, all looking forward with a strong presence. Lee Seung Chul stands at the center with his unique charisma, while Young K and Akiyama Seihun add a heavy atmosphere with their arms crossed. Jejung and Wendy join in, creating a high-quality lineup that transcends genres and enhances the program's weight. The teaser video released simultaneously emphasizes the concept of 'The Reborn Star' with the message 'The story of new stars created by stars', attracting attention. In the video, Lee Seung Chul reveals the intention of the project, stating, 'Many friends who once debuted have faced failure and setbacks. The aim is to gather them again and reboot them through music.' Following this, 16 'Muses' selected through a private audition were revealed, marking the beginning of the full-fledged journey. Lee Seung Chul declared, 'This is the story of new stars created by stars' and congratulated those who became 'Muses' of 'THE SCOUT', raising expectations. Jejung, Wendy, and Young K then appeared one after another, stimulating curiosity about the synergy they will show based on their accumulated experiences in their respective fields. Finally, Lee Seung Chul stated, 'There is no dropout in music. There is only choice,' hinting at the unique progression method of 'THE SCOUT', further piquing curiosity.
