In the second episode of 'ROAD TO KINGDOM: ACE OF ACE' broadcast on September 26 (Thursday), titled 'VS Battle', each team faced off with songs from popular boy groups like Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, NCT, THE BOYZ, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. First, the participating teams selected the artists they would perform from the team that ranked first in the evaluation battle. After all seven groups made their selections, the battle commenced. A showdown between debut peers THE NEW SIX and TEMPEST unfolded with Stray Kids' songs. TEMPEST's LEW stirred the audience with comments about their rivalry with THE NEW SIX since their debut, expressing their desire to win without surprises. THE NEW SIX responded, feeling both inspired and saddened by his words. They decided to challenge with Stray Kids' 'Phobia', a song with no performance or music video, and delivered a unique performance featuring a butterfly-themed set, powerful dance, and a surprise rap part. Other teams were visibly impressed. TEMPEST, understanding their strength in streaming, chose Stray Kids' hit 'MANIAC' for their performance, wanting to captivate the audience. However, they noticed a similar chain-themed performance during rehearsal, leading to comments about fate's tricks. In the actual performance, TEMPEST started with the chain concept and showcased an impressive dance break. When results were announced, THE NEW SIX emerged victorious, earning 1,000 benefit points, while TEMPEST was left disappointed. The next battle featured 8TURN and YOUNITE competing with ENHYPEN songs. YOUNITE, confident in their abilities, challenged 8TURN, who chose 'Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)'. 8TURN's dynamic performance captivated the audience. YOUNITE, planning to present a different concept, performed 'Bite Me', delivering a horror movie-like stage that thrilled the crowd. In a surprising turn, YOUNITE defeated 8TURN, leaving them in disbelief.

ZEROBASEONE’s Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook have begun a new musical challenge as the hip-hop unit EMP. They released “EMP Mixtape Vol.1: We the Extra,” which includes four songs, two title tracks, and full participation in writing, composing, and producing. More releases are planned for November.

At the opening show for the RE RHEE collection at the 2027 S/S Seoul Fashion Week held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul’s Jung District on the morning of the 1st, Nicole of KARA, Lee Gikwang of Highlight, Lee Jinhyuk of UP10TION, Dohee and Soha of SAY MY NAME, FIFTY FIFTY, H1-KEY, Jinwei (Bong Jinyu) and Tell of VAYONN, Jane and Hyunmin of KEYVITUP, Tempest’s Eunchan, Sohyang, Hwangbo, and Seo Yi-hyun were in attendance. TEMPEST’s Hanbin delivers dynamic energy through his solo debut. He released the music video for “No Fear (Feat. punchnello),” the title track of his first digital single, showing him dancing alone before motionless people begin moving. The song is a high-energy dance-pop track expressing confidence and a fearless drive forward, and Hanbin participated in writing all the lyrics.
On the afternoon of the 20th, a VIP screening of the film 'Guntai' was held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul. Attendees included Jung Hae-in, ASTRO's Yoon Sanha, and many other stars. The film depicts isolated survivors battling evolving infected individuals in a quarantined building due to an unidentified infection crisis.
