Stray Kids captivated 100,000 spectators. On September 11 (local time), Stray Kids took the stage at the giant music festival "Rock in Rio," held at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Park in Brazil. This year’s "Rock in Rio" featured world-class musicians such as Calvin Harris, the Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, and Elton John, and Stray Kids were listed as the first K-pop artist ever to serve as a headliner. "Rock in Rio" allowed fans to bring penlights for the first time in its history since its first event in 1985, in line with K-pop viewing culture, making the influence of Stray Kids tangible. Stray Kids delivered a passionate performance before a huge crowd whose lights from the group’s official penlights were rippling like waves. Starting with a grand intro, they moved into "TOPLINE (Feat. Tiger JK)," "S-Class," and "Bounce Back," instantly raising the energy of the venue from the opening. They thrilled the audience with performances of the group’s signature songs "MANIAC," "God's Menu," "Chk Chk Boom," and "LALALALA," and especially during the stages of "Thunderous" and "Divine," a thunderous chorus rose up, creating an overwhelming scene that transcended language barriers. The title song "This & That," as well as the tracks "After You" and "RUN IT," also drew enthusiastic cheers, and when "MIROH" was performed, brilliant fireworks colored the night sky, becoming a highlight of the festival. The members also livened up the atmosphere by performing Michel Teló’s local song "Ai Se Eu Te Pego" a cappella and by stepping down from the stage to make eye contact with fans up close. In response to the passionate reactions of the 100,000-strong crowd, they even performed "Great Man Story" as an encore on the spot. With self-produced songs and explosive performances, Stray Kids once again proved their overwhelming presence by drawing 100,000 spectators to a single festival performance.
