Lee Chaeyeon, formerly of IZ*ONE, will make her long-awaited Japan debut. DayOneDream Japan will welcome Lee Chaeyeon, formerly of IZ*ONE, as the first artist of its newly established music label, D1 RECORDS, and release her first Japanese debut single, "Bokuno Koe (My Voice)," on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Lee Chaeyeon, who has so far been active with performance ability and expressive power as her strengths, will take on a new form of expression focused on "voice" in her music activities in Japan. At the same time, many release-related photos, such as COMING UP PHOTO and CONCEPT PHOTO, expressing the worldview of her Japanese debut work "Bokuno Koe (My Voice)," will be released to convey the appeal of that worldview. Through visuals incorporating natural scenes such as blue skies, greenery, and the light of dusk, the worldview of this work, which is reminiscent of a scene from a youth film, is expressed. Her first Japanese debut single, "Bokuno Koe (My Voice)," is a work that delivers to Japanese fans the time and feelings she has walked through so far through her own "voice." Within a worldview that looks like a scene cut from a youth film, it is finished as a work in which one can feel Lee Chaeyeon's new charm. The title track, "Bokuno Koe," is a J-ROCK-style song with a refreshing band sound and an impressive electric guitar riff. It depicts a story in which the feelings held inside the heart are entrusted to one's own voice and delivered to someone, and it is a song in which a transparent, delicate singing voice overlaps with a sad yet fleeting worldview. In addition, "No Tears On The Dancefloor (JP Ver.)," included this time, is a song that delivers in Japanese the title track of the 4th mini album "Till I Die," released in Korea in April 2026. It is a Nu-Disco Dance-Pop genre with a retro mood, and through cinematic sound and an emotional melody, it expresses sadness and exhilaration. It contains the strong will to overcome the pain behind a glamorous stage and continue walking on one's own stage. This work includes these two songs. In "Bokuno Koe," delicate emotions are expressed through singing, and in "No Tears On The Dancefloor (JP Ver.)," a powerful figure moving forward is expressed; through these two songs with different charms, it is a work in which one can feel Lee Chaeyeon's wide range of expressive ability. ◆ Lee Chaeyeon comment I am very happy to be able to start my music activities in Japan. "Bokuno Koe (My Voice)" is a work born from the feeling that I want to deliver my current thoughts to the people of Japan by putting them into my "voice." Up to now, I have delivered my charm to many people through performance, but this time I hope that through my singing voice and emotional expression, you will feel a new me. And I am also very much looking forward to standing in front of Japanese fans again after a long time and delivering this work directly. I am happy to be able to meet everyone who has supported me through music again like this, and I hope that from now on I can make many new memories with the people of Japan. I would be happy if my voice could remain in your hearts even a little. Please listen to "Bokuno Koe" many times and enjoy this new story together with me! ■ Release information 1st single "Bokuno Koe (My Voice)" Release date: Thursday, October 8, 2026 Tracks: 1.
