TREASURE is making a comeback with even stronger hip-hop. YG ENTERTAINMENT recently released a teaser video for the digital single “SHOCK” through its official social media. The video contains scenes of smoke and debris scattering, along with effects that evoke an electric shock. In particular, a short audio source in which the phrase “SHOCK SHOCK” is repeated was inserted, conveying the atmosphere of the new song. The release date is November 2 at 6 p.m. This single is an extension of the musical changes TREASURE has been continuing. Prior to this, YG’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk introduced through the official blog that “TREASURE is making the biggest change in the direction of its music,” and that “SHOCK” is also a song centered on a strong hip-hop sound. TREASURE released the 4th mini album “NEW WAV,” led by executive producer Yang Hyun-suk, in June and received favorable reviews. TREASURE’s active activities will continue next year as well. Yang Hyun-suk previously said, “Along with this new song, I would like to ask for a lot of anticipation and support for TREASURE’s full-fledged second act activities that will connect to 2027.”
