A song that is very TREASURE-like has been born from TREASURE. TREASURE released the new digital single “SHOCK” through various music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on the 2nd. At the same time, the audio and music video were also released. “SHOCK” is an electronic hip-hop song that is impressive for its trendy synth sound and speed-filled progression, and it is a track that has engraved TREASURE’s different charms. It adds TREASURE’s dynamic melody within the heavy hip-hop beat that is the foundation of YG music, and shows vivid musical freshness. In the lyrics, a rap quoting 1TYM’s “Hot, hot” and a hook-like phrase in the bridge are repeated, creating strong addictiveness. In the music video, dances that intuitively express the lyrics and sharp point dances appear, adding to the song’s appeal, and repeated intense special effects in a dark-mood set emphasize the visual interest. With this “SHOCK,” TREASURE once again proved what the most TREASURE-like hip-hop is, based on the strong tone and performance they have shown so far. TREASURE is making a comeback with an even more intense hip-hop style.
