"Sunny: Our Hearts Beat Together" and "Swing Kids" creator Kang Hyeong-cheol, one of the Korean film industry’s biggest hitmakers, is bringing "High Five!"—a wildly imaginative idea about "gaining superpowers through organ transplants"—to nationwide release at Shinjuku Piccadilly and other theaters from Friday, October 16. The newly unveiled "super-awakening poster" captures the characters, a collection of oddballs who awaken to superpowers because of organ transplants, and lines up heroic cut-in shots in which each of their personalities bursts forth. At the center is Wang-so (Lee Jae-in), a middle school student and five-time taekwondo champion who gained super strength and the power to run wildly through a heart transplant. Against a vivid red background, she shows a brave expression while still retaining a hint of childish innocence. To her left stands Ji-seong (Ahn Jae-hong), an aspiring screenwriter who knows a lot about heroes and acquired super lung capacity through a lung transplant, with his hair blowing in front of a green color scheme. To Wang-so’s right is Ki-dong (Yoo Ah-in), a free spirit who loves music and fashion and gained the superpower to freely control electromagnetic waves through a corneal transplant, with purple color highlighting his character. Also, standing powerfully against a blue background is Yak-seong (Kim Hee-won), a construction-site foreman who believes in safety first and awakened to regenerative ability through a liver transplant. He is showing a hearty smile with his white teeth visible. And posing against a pink background is Seong-nyeo (Ra Mi-ran), a lactobacillus drink delivery worker who burns with a desire to help people.
