
THE BOYZ has signaled a new departure at a new label established by people involved who have nurtured long-standing ties. 78 RECORDS announced today (the 14th), "We will exclusively handle the group activities of THE BOYZ’s Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric," and "We will fully support THE BOYZ’s group activities and continue a close cooperative relationship so that the members’ will and direction can shine even more brightly." 78 RECORDS is a new label founded and represented by industry figures who have built ties since THE BOYZ’s casting stage. The members’ individual activities are planned to continue separately from group activities, in line with each person’s own agency and individual activity plans. THE BOYZ’s Q is launching full-scale acting activities under his real name, Ji Chang-min. PEACHY announced an exclusive contract with him and said it will fully support his wider career. Q debuted in 2017 and has already acted in dramas and films, with more attention now on his upcoming roles.
