ILLIT has newly produced a music video that has exceeded 100 million views. According to its agency BELIFT LAB, the music video for “jellyous,” a track from ILLIT’s 3rd mini album “bomb,” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube at around 5:46 a.m. that day. It is the group’s third music video to reach 100 million views in total, following “Magnetic” and “It’s Me.” Released in June 2025, “jellyous” is a song that depicts feelings mixed with excitement and tension before a promise to meet someone one likes, when one cannot be sure whether it is a date. It compares the jealousy (jealous) and complex emotions born from not knowing the other person’s feelings to colorful jelly (jelly). The music video for “jellyous” humorously depicts ILLIT, transformed into game characters, receiving a message asking for help from the person they like and making a chaotic journey to rush to them. When they promoted the song as a follow-up track from the 3rd mini album, the choreography of stepping with all their might to the nonstop-beating rhythm created a refreshing feeling and gained great popularity. Recently, attention has again been drawn to the lyrical story that connects to the new song “You’re Under Arrest.” The lyrics in “jellyous,” which expressed cute jealousy such as “sweet-and-sour feelings, so jellyous,” “DMs flying back and forth all night,” and “Wait wait wait, are you kind to everyone? Hey hey hey, that’s illegal,” have in “You’re Under Arrest” turned into evidence for a guilty verdict, such as “sweet-and-sour jelly is actually smelly,” “Why did you send a DM like that?,” and “I told you, being kind to everyone is a crime.” The intricately connected lyrics of the two songs give listeners the enjoyment of finding a story that fits together like a puzzle. ILLIT is sweeping charts in Korea and abroad with “You’re Under Arrest.” The song has kept the No. 1 spot on Apple Music’s “Top 100: Korea” for three consecutive days (as of November 3), and is also maintaining high positions on Korean daily charts such as MelOn, Bugs, and Genie Music. In Japan, it drew attention immediately upon release and ranked No. 3 on Billboard Japan’s fast-rising chart “Hot Shot Songs” (as of November 4). On the latest U.S. Billboard charts (as of November 7), it also ranked on “Global 200” and “Global (Excl. U.S.),” proving the strength of the track.
