Global girls group VCHA of JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP) conducted a photo shoot with American magazine "Teen Vogue." VCHA was born from a collaboration with Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, selected by K-POP's leading planning company JYP and Billboard as America's No. 1 label. They adorned the digital cover of the music issue of the famous American magazine "Teen Vogue" and showcased teenage energy. Along with the photo shoot, they talked about various things, from the opportunity where girls who like K-POP gathered to what happened after their debut. KG said, "K-POP is more than just 'music.' There are really many special things like dance, visuals, and fans." Kendal expressed her determination, "In order to become someone's role model, I think you have to show the most honest self without pretense." VCHA, who performed as the opening artist for TWICE's world tour concerts and actively worked as a "global rookie," reflected on the meaningful moment, saying, "It was a really nervous and unforgettable experience to perform on the opening stage of TWICE seniors' stadium concert." In addition, they mentioned that the advice from Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park), the representative producer of JYP who discovered them through the global girls group launch project "A2K" (America2Korea), to "believe in the practice you did before going on stage" was a great help. VCHA took charge of the opening for TWICE's world tour concerts, starting with Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico on February 2-3 (local time), followed by Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil on February 6-7, and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA on March 16, performing at overseas mega concert venues and attracting attention. They are scheduled to captivate a large audience again at "Lollapalooza Chicago" on August 2.
Camila of VCHA debuts with "Girls of the Year" teaser, showcasing a special atmosphere and next-generation superstar figure. The 1st single includes title track "Girls of the Year" and B-side "XO Call Me," to be released on January 26th at 2pm, followed by a debut commemorative live at 3pm.
