Joy from Red Velvet talked about the reason she started aiming to obtain a trimmer qualification. In the 647th episode of the MBC variety show 'I Live Alone' aired on the 15th in Korea, a day in Joy's life as she challenges the trimmer qualification exam was revealed. On this day, Joy went to trimmer school and revealed, 'I started coming here the day after finishing the filming of a drama. We had the drama's wrap party the day before, and I went the very next day. I have been attending for two months.' She said, 'I often think about worst-case scenarios. I was worried about how I would live if I couldn't do this job (entertainment activities), and I thought it would be good to have a skill. Since I love dogs, I thought I would try learning pet grooming.' Joy mentioned that she has a written exam coming up in July. The written and practical exams are only held four times a year. She stated, 'I learned by attending about ten times over the two months to prepare for the practical exam,' and added, 'It's fun. When I'm doing it, it feels like only an hour has passed, but four hours have gone by.'
