Newcomer global girl group VCHA of JYP Entertainment (hereinafter, JYP) will release their pre-debut single "Ready for the World." VCHA was born through the global girl group launch project "A2K" (America2Korea) co-produced by JYP and Republic Records, the Billboard-selected No. 1 label under Universal Music Group. The theme song "Ready for the World" of the program "A2K," which ended a long journey in September this year, received favorable reviews from viewers in Korea and abroad at the time of broadcast. The full version will be released at 2:00 PM on December 1 (0:00 Eastern Standard Time in the United States). The new song "Ready for the World" is a track in the energetic up-tempo synth-pop genre with lyrics, composition, and arrangement by "the producer representing K-POP" Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park), expressing the fun and excitement of the members who are about to officially debut. VCHA sings a dignified ambition that they are ready to face the world. The group name VCHA was given by Park Jin-young, who was in charge of the project, and expresses the group's identity in Korean, meaning "VCHA shines light on fans and the world." Prior to this, on September 22, the pre-debut single "SeVit (NEW LIGHT)" and the title track "Y.O.Universe" were simultaneously released worldwide, decorating the finale of "A2K." The music video for "Y.O.Universe" entered the rankings of 33 regions overseas, including 1st place worldwide, 5th place in the United States, 7th place in Brazil, and 8th place in Canada, proving the high level of global interest. The super-large project "A2K," co-produced by JYP, a leading K-POP agency, and Republic Records, the No. 1 label under Universal Music, opened grandly in July this year through JYP's official YouTube channel. It is a global girl group survival project based on the first K-POP training system in North America, with representative Park Jin-young serving as an audition judge and personally judging participants with dreams and possibilities in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Los Angeles boot camp, and even in Korea. The sweat and effort of the participants toward their dreams, and Park Jin-young's candid judging comments received a strong response from fans around the world. "Ready for the World" will be released at 2:00 PM on December 1 through various music distribution sites. VCHA is preparing for their official debut and plans to meet fans with more energetic activities.
