BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) will hold a large-scale urban event in Busan, South Korea, on their debut anniversary. This is part of the 'BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG' IN BUSAN' taking place on June 12 and 13, which will fill the entire city with BTS's music and stories through the 'THE CITY' project. 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - BUSAN' (hereafter 'THE CITY BUSAN') is a cultural event where citizens and tourists can enjoy together in Busan. BTS previously held 'THE CITY' during 'BTS in BUSAN' in 2022, transforming Busan into an urban concert play park. BTS is set to hold 'THE CITY' again in this location after about four years, and this time it is expected to be even more meaningful as it coincides with their debut anniversary on June 13. 'THE CITY BUSAN,' planned with the active cooperation and support of Busan Metropolitan City, aims to create an open event that allows not only audiences but also local citizens to participate through close collaboration with local governments. The event will feature a spectacular drone light show over Gwangandaegyo Bridge and a big roof light show at the 'Hall of Movies,' among other attractions, decorating Busan's major landmarks with BTS's messages. Collaborating with the 'Haeundae Sand Festival' held at Haeundae Beach, the 'Love Song Lounge' and 'Love Quarter' will allow anyone to freely enjoy the event atmosphere throughout the city. The community space 'ARMY 'MADANG'' at The Bay 101 will provide a unique experience combining cutting-edge technology and entertainment elements, sponsored by global big tech companies. In shopping and F&B sectors, a large pop-up store at Shinsegae Centum City will create a dynamic space experience with official merchandise zones and interactive exhibits. Additionally, many local gourmet brands will participate, offering original tastes and attractions. Beyond this, Busan city tours, yacht tours, and themed accommodation packages at Paradise Hotel Busan will allow visitors to experience BTS's music and messages through mobility and lodging.
