Prior to this, on July 10, the court sentenced Taeyong and his accomplices to 3 years and 6 months in prison each. Additionally, they were ordered to complete 40 hours of sexual violence treatment programs and face a 5-year employment restriction related to child and youth organizations and disability-related organizations. Taeyong is suspected of sexually assaulting a woman who was intoxicated last June, along with two acquaintances. According to the prosecution, he allegedly intoxicated a foreign woman he met at a bar in Itaewon and then transported her to a residence in Banpo-dong, where he is accused of raping her while she was unconscious. It is known that the victim is a foreigner. Taeyong admitted to the charges, and the prosecution is seeking a 7-year sentence.
