RIIZE will digitally release its new song “Insomnia” at 0:00 on Monday, October 26. At the same time, the music video will be released on the SMTOWN channel on YouTube. The new song “Insomnia” is a song in which RIIZE takes on acoustic pop for the first time. Centered on lyrical guitar sounds, RIIZE, which has shown its appeal through diverse music and performances until now, will in this work bring a new charm by bringing the six members’ vocals to the forefront. Within an atmosphere that evokes a night when one cannot easily fall asleep—quiet yet somehow tinged with loneliness—the members’ plain yet poignant vocals blend together, delivering the appeal of the song, which has become even deeper. Furthermore, the lyrics express in gentle and delicate words the feelings toward the other person that become clearer as the night deepens, and the complex emotions that spread out like branches from there. On Monday, October 19, a schedule poster for “Insomnia” was also released through RIIZE’s official SNS. Along with a seascape with flickering light in time with the instrumental of the new song, the schedule for a variety of promotional contents to be released one after another, such as game, side story, Music Video Teaser, and images, was revealed. In addition, for four days from Monday, October 26, the day of the release of “Insomnia,” to Thursday, October 29, a release commemorative fan event, “RIIZE into INSOMNIA,” will be held at SPACE S50 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, South Korea. “RIIZE into INSOMNIA” is a fan event that can be enjoyed through various contents such as the stage of “Insomnia,” talk, exhibition, and experiences. Details including how to participate will be announced on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 20, in the RIIZE community on Weverse. Along with showing new musical appeal with the new song “Insomnia,” attention is also gathering on RIIZE’s future, as they continue energetic activities in Japan as well.
