An intense battle for survival has begun. Yesterday (10th), in the 4th episode of Mnet's 'ROAD TO KINGDOM: ACE OF ACE' broadcast in South Korea, the second round 'IDENTITY' mission was held. After two aces appeared to highlight the group's identity, the stage was set according to the cue sheet decided by ONEUS, who received benefits in the first round, with 8TURN appearing first. Prior to this, 8TURN, who finished last in the first round and faced elimination, analyzed the reasons for their defeat and actively utilized glamorous props this time, attracting attention from viewers. Aces Jeyoon and Myungho added the concept of the Grim Reaper and a dead king to their debut song 'TIC TAC', showcasing a captivating performance with a floating coffin. The opposing teams praised their growth, saying, 'The standard has become too high with this stage' and 'It was a stage with a clear ace and concept. They have grown.' THE NEW SIX chose 'Love or Die', which was released while main vocalist Jung Junhyuk was on hiatus, and all six members performed, presenting a meaningful stage. Incorporating elements from 'Swan Lake', THE NEW SIX caught attention with Jung Junhyuk's lyrical and overwhelming vocals and Woo Kyungjun's bold pair dance. In particular, the fresh performance using ladders by Oh Seongjun and Eun Hee received high praise from the opposing teams, who remarked, 'Ladders can look beautiful too' and 'They are good at using props.' CRAVITY also selected 'Love or Die', which won first place on a terrestrial music program. After finishing last in the evaluation battle, they became the top-ranked team in the first round and challenged themselves to maintain their position. Aces Taeyoung and Mini drew attention from the start with a dramatic performance of falling from a cliff, culminating in a finale that showcased finding light, completing a performance that captivated the audience with a consistent structure from beginning to end. The opposing teams praised them, saying, 'The concept, arrangement, and choreography were all perfect' and 'They are likely to rank high again.' YOUNITE, who left a strong impression with a dark concept last time, showcased a refreshing charm this time with a lively stage reminiscent of a musical. Choosing the enjoyable song 'WATERFALL', they centered around aces Lee Woosang and Eunho, presenting a stage that evoked musical elements and festival vibes with bright energy. The opposing teams were impressed, commenting, 'It was a stage like an air purifier' and 'They can show such a stage even in competition,' and 'Eunho's face is so handsome, I became a fan.' As the first eliminated team will be decided through the second round, the tension is rising. With ATBO & JUST B, TEMPEST, who finished low in the previous first round, and the 'ace first place' team ONEUS remaining, attention is focused on which team will escape the risk of elimination.
