TREASURE is making a comeback with an even more intense hip-hop style. YG Entertainment released a teaser for the digital single “SHOCK,” showing electric-shock-like effects, smoke, and flying debris, along with a short audio clip repeating “SHOCK SHOCK.” The single will be released on November 2 at 6 p.m. YG producer Yang Hyun-suk said the song reflects TREASURE’s ongoing musical shift and centers on a strong hip-hop sound. After the well-received mini album “NEW WAV” in June, TREASURE’s active promotions are expected to continue into next year and beyond.

TREASURE will release the live DVD and Blu-ray “TREASURE THE STAGE 2026 NEW WAV : LIVE IN JAPAN” on November 11, 2026. It includes the full Tokyo Ariake Arena tour finale, plus special bonus footage such as best moments, game digests, and light-stick views. A live CD and a new digital single are also scheduled.

U-NEXT has announced exclusive Japanese livestreaming of the 2026 MAMA AWARDS, held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on November 20 and 21, 2026. The stream will include the red carpet and awards ceremony for unlimited viewing by U-NEXT monthly members, with a giveaway campaign also planned.

CJ ENM’s 2026 MAMA AWARDS revealed 25 presenters for its Osaka ceremony on November 20–21, featuring stars from K-pop, film, TV, dance, and more. Under the concept “A MUSIC INTERSTELLAR,” the show promises an all-generation K-POP stage and record artist lineup.

Some K-pop artists, including IVE, KiiiKiii, FIFTY FIFTY, and Park Hyo-shin, submitted songs for the Grammy’s new Best Asian Pop Music Performance category, along with Japanese and other Asian acts. But BTS, Stray Kids, and other major-label artists declined, amid debate over whether the category helps or isolates Asian music.

YG ENTERTAINMENT is holding a 30th anniversary special event at RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya from October 18 to November 1, 2026. The pop-up features goods from BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER, plus a collaboration cafe and a BABYMONSTER pop-up.

YG’s Yang Hyun-suk revealed comeback plans for BABYMONSTER and TREASURE, and announced that two new groups—a five-member boy group and a four-member girl group—are being prepared for debut, with a goal of launching them around 2027.
