GOT7's Jinyoung and Kim Minju from IZ*ONE have completed a page of youth. 'ARENA Homme+' has released a gravure and interview shot with Jinyoung, the lead actor of JTBC's new Friday series 'Light of Love,' and Kim Minju. The two fell in love in a bright atmosphere, like a drama about being a light for each other, capturing the appearance of lovers with fluttering hearts in the gravure. In the interview, Jinyoung introduced 'Light of Love' as 'a work that nature also supported.' Jinyoung explained, 'The hometown where I spent my teenage years in the drama was so beautiful that I thought, 'How beautiful were these two in love?' The forest was dazzlingly lush, and there were trees that made me wonder, 'Why are they leaning so much?' One of the important places for both of us is a wetland, and the scene shot there turned out to be poignant.' Kim Minju candidly revealed the reason she decided to participate in the work. 'While reading the script, I thought several times that it felt like a novel. It was an opportunity that came when I wanted to try a youth melodrama in my next work, so I was filled with gratitude. I originally liked melodramas, and recently there haven't been many warm stories, so I strongly hoped to depict a fresh love. Now, as I transition from my 20s to my 30s, I wanted to challenge myself more.' Next, the two also talked about the message they want to convey through the work. First, Jinyoung said, 'What Minju, the director, and I discussed was to incorporate the four seasons of love. In fact, all four seasons appear in the drama: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. When comparing love to the seasons, there are warm moments, very hot moments, slightly chilly moments, and cold moments of parting, but then spring comes again and it gets warm. Just as the seasons pass, I want to naturally convey the feelings everyone experiences while falling in love.' Kim Minju said, 'After going through a fresh period and experiencing realistic times in life, the depiction of loving each other again emerges. It's a work that can resonate with a wide age range, so I would be happy if many people could reminisce and feel various emotions while watching.' 'Light of Love' depicts the process of young people sharing their own world and becoming the very light that illuminates each other's trust and direction in life, starting to air on March 6.
