The production team of the drama 'Light of Love' clarified their views on scenes that could be interpreted as drinking and driving. Yesterday (31st), a representative from JTBC's 'Light of Love' commented, 'We humbly accept the related criticisms and will pay close attention to prevent similar incidents in the future.' The story depicts the process of young people growing into beings that illuminate each other's life directions. In the recently aired 7th episode in Korea, there was a scene where Yong Tae-so (GOT7's Jinyoung) drives immediately after receiving alcohol, and in the 8th episode, after Bae Seong-chan (Shin Jae-ha) states, 'I will quietly return in the early morning after sobering up,' there is a scene where he actually drives early in the morning. In response, a complainant pointed out, 'While repeatedly depicting scenes that could be interpreted as driving after drinking or driving while hungover, it is problematic that this is not clearly recognized as something to be cautious about, but rather consumed as a means of narrative tension or emotional conflict,' and requested a review. The Broadcasting Communications Review Committee plans to decide whether to present the case after examining the content of the complaint according to related procedures.
