WayV opened the splendid curtain on a new tour. Over two days, on September 12 and 13, “2026 WayV CONCERT TOUR [BORN THIS Way] IN SEOUL” was held at KBS Arena in Gangseo District, Seoul. The performance on the final day, the 13th, was livestreamed through global platforms such as Beyond LIVE and Weverse. This performance embodied the keywords of WayV’s musical world, “flight” and “dream,” through a variety of stages. It began with “Vision Wings (English Ver.),” which sings of flight beyond limits, continued with “Take Off,” which contains the message of soaring higher, “Kick Back (Korean Ver.),” which says to draw the future together, and ended with “BIG BANDS (Korean Ver.),” which conveys overwhelming confidence, depicting a new leap at the end of WayV’s journey toward one dream as they meet again. Through the grand opening section composed of “Vision Wings (English Ver.),” “Phantom (English Ver.),” “Icon,” “WOAH,” and “FREQUENCY (Korean Ver.),” which began with a martial-arts performance, WayV released its unique musicality and intense energy. Not only the stages of “On My Youth (English Ver.),” “Eternal White (English Ver.),” “Action Figure,” and “Only Human,” but also the stages of tracks from the 8th mini album released in August, such as “Blue Fever” and “Heaven's Here With Me,” drew enthusiastic cheers. Through this performance, WayV presented its first solo performances. Kun opened the intro of “Give Me That (Korean Ver.)” with a surprise magic act in which he took a large teddy bear out of a box and created flowers and fireworks; Xiaojun showed an alluring dance break in “Nectar”; Hendery doubled the sensual mood of “Love Talk” with a performance using a bed; and Yangyang vividly displayed each member’s individuality and heightened the excitement in the venue by performing a swordsmanship act in the dance break part of “Phantom (English Ver.),” which was arranged by Kun. Unit stages were also unveiled, such as “Count It,” where the cheerful synergy between Hendery and Yangyang stood out, and “Afterparty (5 a.m.),” where the emotional vocals of Kun and Xiaojun were impressive. After finishing even the encore section filled with “First Time,” “Moment in Time,” “Stand By Me,” and “Dream Launch,” WayV said, “Having all of you beside us is the greatest gift. We will walk together forever as WayV.” WayV will continue the tour in Hangzhou, Chengdu, Changsha, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Yokohama, and other cities.
