If the suspicion is recognized, according to Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes in Korea, it will result in imprisonment for more than 7 years or life imprisonment. According to reports, Teile was accused of sexually assaulting a drunken woman with two acquaintances in June. After two months since the accusation, he was summoned for investigation on August 28 and was sent documents to the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office on the 12th of last month. None of the accomplices are celebrities, and it is reported that the prosecution has not yet proceeded with the summons investigation. Previously, SM Entertainment issued an official comment on the day of Teile's summons investigation, stating, 'We have recently confirmed the fact that Teile has been accused in a criminal case regarding sexual crimes. After discussions with Teile, we decided on his departure from the group.'
