Mocha of ILLIT has temporarily suspended activities due to health reasons, raising concerns. Today (21st), Mocha posted a message to the fan community saying, 'Don't worry! I'll come to see you soon. Today's Mocha's OOTD,' along with a photo of her recent situation. Prior to this, on the 20th, her agency BELIFT LAB released an official statement regarding Mocha's health issues and future schedule. The agency revealed, 'Mocha recently went to the hospital due to health problems and was diagnosed by medical staff as needing ongoing treatment and sufficient rest.' They continued, 'The artist's desire to continue activities is very strong, but we have determined that the artist should focus on recovery first.' As a result, Mocha will not participate in any of ILLIT's scheduled activities for the time being. BELIFT LAB stated, 'Even if it takes some time, we plan to carefully monitor the artist's recovery process and will inform you of the timing for resuming activities.' This news comes just as ILLIT's comeback is approaching, leading to increased expressions of regret. ILLIT is set to release their 4th mini-album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' and the title track 'It's Me' on the 30th, aiming for a full-fledged return.
ILLIT’s Minju won fans over with a cover of Lee Hyori’s classic “10 Minutes,” released on the group’s official YouTube channel. She reinterpreted the song in an R&B style, adding delicate vocals, expressive groove, and Y2K-inspired visuals. BELIFT LAB said she also took part in vocal direction and chorus recording. Minju said she wanted to sing a song she loves in her own voice. ILLIT will hold an encore concert in Incheon next month after sold-out tour stops in Seoul, five Japanese cities, and Hong Kong.
