Mizoguchi Takuya stars in the Japan-Philippines film Return to Bloom, which premieres at VAFF with MASHIHO’s theme song.

The film Return to Bloom depicts people and nature, love and memory, set in Japan and the Philippines. Starring Takuya Mizoguchi, this work, woven amid the magnificent nature of Bohol Island in the Philippines, has been officially selected for the 30th Vancouver Asian Film Festival (VAFF). It will then receive its world premiere in Vancouver, Canada. It has now been announced that MASHIHO, formerly of TREASURE, who handles not only singing and dancing but also lyric writing and composition, will be in charge of the theme song for this work. The theme song “Soulmate,” written specifically for this film, connects in music the story of Return to Bloom, woven across the sea. MASHIHO debuted in 2020 as a member of TREASURE after appearing on the audition program “YG Treasure Box.” He left the group in November 2022 and announced the start of his solo activities on March 25, 2024. He has held fan meetings in Osaka, Yokohama, and also in Thailand and Taipei, expanding his activities both in Japan and overseas. On March 25, 2025, he released his debut album ULTRA VIOLET, and in June of the same year he released the photo book Dear Ü.
