BABYMONSTER has achieved a new record for first week sales with their debut album. Today (8th), according to the album sales aggregation site HANTEO Chart, BABYMONSTER's 1st mini album "BABYMONS7ER" recorded 401,287 copies in first week sales from April 1st to April 7th. This surpasses the record for the highest first week sales of a debut album by a K-POP girl group. "BABYMONS7ER" showed signs of extraordinary popularity with over 460,000 pre-orders. The formation of a core fandom through various independent contents, as well as the exceptional expectations for their music world view inherited from YG ENTERTAINMENT's DNA, are reflected. Considering that BABYMONSTER has just started full-fledged activities, it is expected that final sales will increase further.
