&TEAM attended the '67th Japan Record Awards' held yesterday (9th). It has also been decided that they will appear live on TBS's '67th Shining! Japan Record Awards' broadcast on December 30 (Tuesday). At the awards ceremony, leader EJ received a trophy, and in his speech, &TEAM's sub-leader FUMA said, 'First of all, I am truly honored to receive such a prestigious award. I want to express my gratitude to everyone involved and to all the LUNÉ (the name of &TEAM's fanbase) who always support us.' He continued, 'We, &TEAM, aim to go from Japan to the world, and receiving this 'Special International Music Award' is truly meaningful and deeply moving. We hope to encourage more people to know about &TEAM's music and performances, and we want to work hard to become artists who can soar from Japan to the world. On the day of the event, we will do our best to show a performance worthy of this award. Thank you very much.' &TEAM debuted in 2022 with the slogan 'Japan to Global.' They achieved their first million certification with their 3rd single 'Go in Blind (Tsukikiba)' released in April 2025 in Japan. They successfully completed their first Asia tour, attracting about 160,000 fans across 10 cities, and released their 1st mini-album 'Back to Life' in Korea in October, achieving a million on the first day of release. This made &TEAM the first Japanese artist to achieve million certifications in both Japan and Korea, taking a steady step towards 'Japan to Global.' In their activities for their Korean debut, they achieved three crowns on local music program charts and appeared on various popular variety shows, steadily expanding their fandom not only in Japan but globally. Evidence of this is the doubling of their listener count on streaming services worldwide. The title track 'Back to Life' recorded approximately 2.4 times the maximum listeners on Spotify and about 3.8 times on Apple Music compared to their previous title track 'Go in Blind (Tsukikiba),' and the American economic media Forbes reported that they are 'one of the most attention-grabbing groups now,' making them a Japanese group that has garnered significant global attention worthy of the 'Special International Music Award.' &TEAM will rush through a series of stages until the end of 2025, and expectations are high for their stunning performances that only they can show.
