'Blue Lock' is a story set in the 'Blue Prison' project launched by the Japan Football Association to train strikers who will lead Japan to victory in the World Cup. It features 300 high school forwards gathered from across the country, engaging in fierce survival battles. The innovative setting that breaks common sense, the egotistical characters bursting with individuality, and the unpredictable story development have excited readers both domestically and internationally, making 'Blue Lock' a new landmark in soccer manga. So far, it has been adapted into a TV anime in 2022, with a theatrical anime set to release in 2024, and has expanded into various media including smartphone games and stage adaptations. Last year, it was announced that a live-action film would be made, and from January to February this year, visuals featuring the cast of Team Z, including Fumiya Takahashi, Kaito Sakurai, and others, were revealed daily on social media, generating excitement. At a production report event in February, a teaser video showcasing part of the main story was unveiled, raising expectations for its completion. In April, it was revealed that members of the absolute champion Team V would be played by K (from &TEAM), Keisuke Tsuna, and Kohei Higuchi.
