Dahyun of TWICE will not participate in the North America tour due to a fracture. JYP Entertainment announced today (11th) through TWICE's official SNS that they published 'Information regarding Dahyun's health condition and future activities.' The agency revealed that 'Dahyun had an abnormality in her ankle discovered at the beginning of the tour, and she has been continuously receiving treatment in America. After entering Korea, she underwent a detailed examination and was diagnosed with a fracture.' They continued, 'Considering the nature of flying and performances, which could put a significant burden on the fractured area due to continuous walking, movement, and choreography execution, after sufficient consultation with the artist, the company, and the medical team, it was decided to prioritize the artist's health and not participate in the North America tour from February 13 to March 7.' TWICE is currently successfully conducting their largest world tour 'THIS IS FOR' with a total of 78 performances in 43 regions worldwide. JYP Entertainment's official comment states that Dahyun has been receiving treatment in America and was diagnosed with a fracture after entering Korea. The medical team advised that she needs sufficient rest and continuous treatment. Dahyun has valued meeting fans during the North America tour that started in January and has done her best to perform on stage, even sitting down after her injury. However, due to the nature of flying and performances, it was deemed necessary to prioritize her health. Dahyun will focus on rest and treatment for the time being, and after confirming her recovery progress, she will consult with her medical team to decide on future schedules. The agency expresses heartfelt apologies to surprised fans and requests generous understanding for this decision made for Dahyun's swift recovery. They will do their best to ensure she can greet fans again in a healthier state after fully recovering. They express deep gratitude to fans for their warm support and love. Thank you.
