SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua are forming a new unit and will release their first mini album. According to their agency, Pledis Entertainment, today (the 23rd), Jeonghan and Joshua will release their 1st mini album, “DREAMSCAPE,” on the 19th of next month. They will include in the album a dream world in which the two meanings of dreams—unconscious fantasies rising from sleep and ideals to be achieved in reality—intersect endlessly, collide, and expand. The released symbol motion stimulated fans’ curiosity with its mysterious atmosphere. The two Js, the English initials of Jeonghan and Joshua, are fantastically depicted in the process of overlapping into one. Pledis Entertainment said, “DREAMSCAPE is an album that depicts through music the process of dissolving the boundary between fantasy and reality and expanding a new world of sensations,” and added, “Jeonghan and Joshua will become dreamers and portray an audiovisually ecstatic world with unfamiliar beauty discovered at the point where the boundaries of the two dreams melt together.” Jeonghan and Joshua, members of SEVENTEEN’s vocal team, are also called visual members because of not only their sweet singing voices and delicate emotional expression, but also their handsome appearances. In particular, Jeonghan recently received favorable reviews for reinterpreting tuki.’s hit song “Bansanka” in his own color, and Joshua has been gaining popularity by releasing his new song “Baby Come Home” in Chinese and English versions. SEVENTEEN’s Jun has been cast as the lead, Su Cheng, in the Chinese film Rebirth 2, set for release in China on October 3. He plays a man searching across China for his missing younger brother, and will show both delicate emotional acting and action scenes. The film follows two people uncovering a huge conspiracy involving a criminal organization and seeking revenge. Jun stars alongside Isabella Leong, Sammo Hung, and Bai Ke. He has also been active in China through the Silk Road International Film Festival and a nomination for the Hundred Flowers Award.
SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan revealed that he had serious health problems during his military service. He said his stomach and intestines became very bad, causing him to lose 13 kg and drop to 53 kg before he began exercising. He also joked with Na Young-seok and blamed Mingyu.
